Q2 2024 iOS Virtual Fitness Apps Performance in the US

As the virtual fitness industry continues to thrive, Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into the performance of top iOS virtual fitness applications in the US during the second quarter of 2024. Here's how the leading apps fared.

komoot - hike, bike & run experienced a fluctuating revenue trend, with a peak of around $30K and a low of around $11K. Downloads showed a similar inconsistency, ranging from approximately 2K to 3K. Weekly active users started at around 19K, dipped to approximately 17K, and ended the quarter near the 20K mark.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike saw its revenue move in a generally positive direction, starting at around $10K and closing the quarter at nearly $17K. Downloads had a spike in mid-April at over 4K but generally hovered around 1K to 1.5K. Weekly active users remained steady with slight fluctuations, maintaining a base of around 11K.

For bergfex: hiking & tracking, revenue showed an upward trend from approximately $6K to $11K. Downloads peaked in early May at over 1.5K but ended the quarter with around 1.2K. Weekly active users started at close to 2.4K and saw a gradual increase to nearly 2.7K by the end of June.

Garmin Connect™ does not report revenue but showed a steady growth in downloads from 1K to 1.2K. The app's weekly active users saw a noticeable dip in late May but recovered to end the quarter with over 80K users, which was higher than the starting figure of approximately 79K.

Lastly, JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit had a revenue that fluctuated between $2K and $4.6K. Downloads peaked in mid-April at over 2K but dropped to less than 1K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 5.6K to 4.9K throughout the quarter.
